This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Merrill here at Boom Lake, and if you get bored of Boom Lake you could also go to nearby Lake Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Claridge Motor Inn. Boom Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, West Bay Camping       Resort is a fine local campground, and while you're here, you could visit Pelican River. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express RHINELANDER is a good choice, and Boom Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Boom Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. At Boom Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's while night                  lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 10's while Boom Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. You clearly should go for Boom Lake.
