Bony Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. So much entertaining stuff to do at Bony Lake, so little time. Stay the night at Sunrise Bay Campground, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bois Brule River. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place for whitewater       paddling close to Bony Lake is Totogatic River, and let's not forget Mulligan Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. Dry warm beds await you at Northern Pine Inn, and Birch Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. During the days of summer at Bony Lake highs are generally in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 10's while Bony Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime                  are in the-10's. Rustic Roost Motel Dining is a fine spot to get some rest, and Nelson Lake Lodge is a delightful campground here. The Pigeon Lake Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Bony Lake, and near Bony Lake you locate a golf course called Forest Point Resort & Golf Course.
