Wild Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Prokor Creek, and Bone Lake is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Apple River Campgrounds North is a delightful location to camp nearby. Bone Lake is a good spot of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Apple River is a perfect whitewater spot next to Bone Lake, and don't miss out on a trip to Saint Croix National Scenic River while you're here. Lake, and Luck Country Inn is a nice site to get some rest. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Trollhaugen, and Pine Grove Resort is a fine local campground. Having a nice time at Bone Lake is trouble-free.
Lakes? Sure, 1 Reservoir is close by, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Bone Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures
sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bone Lake.
