The good people of Eau Claire like to hang out close by; going for a hike on the Deer Fly Trail is always a good adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Boiler Lake. Hit the slopes at Christie Mountain close by; a delightful place to camp here at Boiler Lake is Brunet Island State Park. You could also take a look at Bass Lake if you're here at Boiler Lake; it's nearby, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby       called the Moonridge Trail. During the summer here at Boiler Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Boiler Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek offers some great whitewater. The amount of precipitation that falls at Boiler Lake is close to the national average;                  of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. A tremendous nearby hotel is Paradise Shores Resort Hotel; from Boiler Lake you get a great view of Baldy Mountain. Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a nice location to get some rest, and camping is available at Ward's Flambeau Resort. This lake is so wonderful.
