There are other places here than Bog Lake, for example Mathy Lake, and delightful hiking is available along the Hickory Ridge Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Bog Lake. Lakes are such calm sites, why not check out Fireside Lakes right next door to Bog Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Chippewa River.       A nice nearby hotel is Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi, and some nearby water includes Potato Creek. Don't leave Bog Lake without first going for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail, and camping is available at Lured In Lodge & Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Eau Claire. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bog Lake; the nighttime is rather chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime                  are in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Bog Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
