This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Peshtigo River next to Bobs Lake, and close by you come across the Dendro Eco Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Big Joe Campground is a magnificent local campground, and going for a hike on the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is always a pleasant adventure.       The warmest time of the year at Bobs Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bobs Lake are in the-10's. Bobs Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Ham Lake Camp Grounds is a good place to camp nearby, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Eds Lake Trail System. What a                  place this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Bobs Lake, you could also visit stunning Silver Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a nice choice. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites, and if you're here you can play some golf at Nicolet Country Club. The yearly rain here at Bobs Lake is about average; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
