There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Chippewa River, and going for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. High temperatures at Bob Lake all through the warm months are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after       the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bob Lake drop into the 0's. Have a good hiking adventure along the Deer Fly Trail. Lakes are nice; Barr Lake is a lake that's next to Bob Lake. You completely must like Bob Lake. Take a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail, and of course, this is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes, Clear Lake is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain. Americinn                  - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a great place to get some rest, and if you came to camp Brunet Island State Park is a good spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Duncan Creek. There's so much to do here at Bob Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a good site for that.
