Not far from Bluegill Lake, you'll come across Bass Lake which is a wonderful lake; camping at Bluegill Lake is great fun, Journey's End is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Bearskin State Park Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Bluegill Lake, and Black Bear Lodge is a wonderful location to get some rest. Any time is a great time at Bluegill Lake if you fancy the outdoors.       Gilmore Creek flows through this neighborhood. A great location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Bluegill Lake is Wisconsin River, and Brian's Resort and Campground is a perfect campground here. Put some time aside to spend at Rainbow Rapids while you're here at Bluegill Lake; a delightful close by hotel is Rustic Manor Motor Lodge.
