This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail next to Bluegill Lake called the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and a picturesque lake like Pickerel Lake 2 is a nice spot to go to. Go for a hike on the Popple Ridge       Snowmobile Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at Bluegill Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Bluegill Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Indian Creek is a scenic stream that is worth visiting, and if you came to camp Maple Heights Campground is a splendid location to do that. The annual rain here at Bluegill Lake                  is about average; the month with most of the rain is September while February is commonly the driest month.
