Some nearby water includes Wilson Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Baraboo here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Don Q Inn is a nice choice, and do have a look at Leland Millpond 25, it's a pretty lake. At Blue Hole during the summertime months highs are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Blue Hole.

| | There's just no way someone can get bored here at Blue Hole. Camping at Flying J Campgrounds is always a good experience. Blue Hole gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout September, and January on the other hand is the driest. Jones Slough is an interesting swamp near Blue Hole; you'll stumble on a delightful lake called Lower Taliesin Lake 12. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Dodgeville; if you came to camp Wisconsin Riverside Resort is a tremendous location to do that.

Cedar Hills Campground
 | 18 miles away ...rby, boat rental in Sauk City. Horse trails adjacent, I don't know if you can keep one at camp. Pets allowed, on leash. At least one regular camper lands his helicopter at camp occasionally, so if you have one... Overnight camping is about $16, electric sites available. Bring quarters for the showers. Ice and firewood available. Many sites have absolutely beautiful views, you won't find this at Jellystone. You also won't find a camp store, organized activities, golf carts, swimming pool, restaurant and bar. This is a very pleasant basic campground. Not much to offer to bored little kids other than that which nature provides. It's not uncommen to see hawks and bald eagles soaring over the valley. From our site this spring we regularly see an adult pair of eagles with their babies. Cool. Interesting aside thing, this is also an operating farm, with cows and corn and tractors and stuff.
