You could also have a look at Diamond Lake if you're here at Black Lake; it's close by; if you have time to spare, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit. Don't leave Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Markville       Snowmobile Trail, and Lower Tamarack River is a good whitewater spot close by. Siren Glen Golf Club is a golf course close to Black Lake; why not camp at Birchwood Beach Campgrounds while you're here at Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Wild Mountain is great. This lake is so wonderful. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Black Lake.
