If you get bored of Black Lake, you could also pop by close by Aspen Lake; why not camp at Pine Grove Resort if you're here at Black Lake. Lower
Tamarack River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a delightful choice.
