But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Birch Lake. Why not go to Birch Lake Dam if you're here, and why not camp at T.P. Resort and Campground if you're here at Birch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Birch Lake without first going for a hike along the Hardwood Trail, and Shady Rest Campground is a pleasant       local campground. There's nice hiking along the Serley Camp Trail, and if you get bored of Birch Lake you could also go to nearby Bass Lake. Through the long summer days at Birch Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Birch Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. A glorious nearby hotel is Days Inn                  Rice Lake; there are some great whitewater spots on Namekagon River. Birch Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
