Birch Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. The amount of rain that falls at Birch Lake is close to the national average; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is tremendous at Indianhead, and you can run the rapids of Planter Creek.
