Amberg Campgrounds and Bar is a splendid campground nearby, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Norway Mountain is pretty near. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Birch Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Birch Lake; most of the rain falls during September; February meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn &       Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI, and you can run the rapids of Pike River. Summertime highs at Birch Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Birch Lake. Cedarville Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a tremendous                  choice. This lake is so wonderful.
