Through the summertime months here at Birch Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Birch Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eau Claire River, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Bogus Swamp is right nearby.       This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Wisconsin River, and if you came for an overnight stay Shady Brook Campground is a splendid place to camp. Having a good time at Birch Lake is simple. Camping is available at Nordic Hills Campground; if you need a location to stay Days Inn of Antigo is a delightful choice. The annual precipitation here at Birch Lake is about average; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around                  here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This is a splendid area for people who like lakes.
