You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area close to Birch Lake has to offer. While you're here at Birch Lake, you could also have a look at striking Clear Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Eau Claire River offers some great whitewater, and you'll come across a gorgeous lake called Perch Lake. The       warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Birch Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Birch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Birch Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Weaver's Resort & Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn of Antigo is a good site to                  spend a night or two. Swamps can be such out of the ordinary places, pop by Bogus Swamp if you're here at Birch Lake, and Nordic Hills Campground is a great local campground.
