Summertime highs at Birch Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Birch Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Birch Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's       not sufficient, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Birch Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Nelson Lake Lodge is a perfect site to camp, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail. A lake nearby is Bony Lake. Glide down the rapids of Bois Brule River in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Northern Pine Inn. Mulligan Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Rustic Roost Motel Dining is a great                  spot to get some rest. While you're here at Birch Lake you can take a hike along the Pigeon Lake Trail, and if you're here you can play some golf at Forest Point Resort & Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
