Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do next to Big Twin Lake. A good site to camp here at Big Twin Lake is Rolling Stone Lake Resort. Why not camp at Joy Harbor Campground while you're here at Big Twin Lake. Lakes are wonderful; Little Twin Lake is a lake that's next to Big Twin Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Twin Lake; Eds Lake Trail System is a good local trail; Days Inn of Antigo       is a tremendous location to get some rest. Through the days of summer here at Big Twin Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Big Twin Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. A magnificent close by hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites, and a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Wolf River. This                  lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and not far from Big Twin Lake you'll come across Lake Ethel which is a beautiful lake.
