Going for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail is always a splendid adventure, and camping is available at Brunet Island State Park. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Deer Fly Trail. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do close to Big Twin Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Ward's       Flambeau Resort is a perfect place to camp; if you're dropping by from Eau Claire, you won't be the only one. At Big Twin Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Big Twin Lake are in the-10's. Big Twin Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month.                  This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a good site to spend a night or two, and at Big Twin Lake you can distinguish Baldy Mountain. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Little Twin Lake near Big Twin Lake; Glen Loch Motel is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
