From a rain point of view Big Twin Lake is a relatively normal location; through September this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. There are fine places to explore along the Hay Meadow Trail; needless to say, this is a good region for people who like lakes, Bass Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. What would winter be without some skiing at Christie       Mountain; going for a hike on the Deer Fly Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Be careful coming to Big Twin Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. The peak of Baldy Mountain can be seen from Big Twin Lake, and close by you come across the Moonridge Trail which is a great hiking trail. Glen Loch Motel is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and Ward's Flambeau Resort is a fine campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Big Twin Lake                  is brilliant fun, Brunet Island State Park is a brilliant local campground; Big Twin Lake is a spot with many visitors from Eau Claire. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Duncan Creek. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Big Twin Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's while Big Twin Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
