A normal amount of rain falls here at Big Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Comfort Inn Minocqua is a fine location to get some rest. This place, Big Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Everybody       close by loves skiing at Indianhead, and camping is available at Birch Lake Resort and Campground. Throughout the summer at Big Lake highs are generally in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Planter Creek is so much fun, and Rice Creek is close to Big Lake and is always                  a diversion to check out. Why not camp at Presque Isle Campground if you're here at Big Lake, and lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Keego Lake.
