During the warm days of summer highs here at Big Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows at Big Lake through the wintertime typically fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Wind Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; get soaked paddling on Apple       River. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Big Lake has it all. A lake nearby is Church Pine Lake, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - New Richmond, Wi is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. The snow is splendid at Wild Mountain. Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations right next door to Big Lake that are splendid to go to, and camping at Cast-a-way Trailer Park is always a pleasant experience. Big Lake                  gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
