All through the months of summer here at Big Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Summer overnight       lows descend down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Big Lake plunge into the 0's. Wild Mountain is a very popular ski area around here; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of St. Croix River. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a good local destination here at Big Lake; Big Lake is a good place to camp, Schillberg's Campgrounds                  is a good place. Big Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. You completely have to adore Big Lake.
