There's so much to do here at Big Lake that you need to camp here for a while, The Harbor Campground is a good site for that; while you're here, you could also have a look at pretty James Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Big Lake. A great close by hotel is Wild Eagle Lodge, and in the       neighborhood of Big Lake you stumble on a golf course called Big Stone Golf & Country Club. Summertime highs at Big Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Big Lake. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Eagle River is a good choice; hiking along the Kimball Creek Trail is great fun. Big Lake gets a common amount of rain;                  of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
