It's always fun to stop by Big Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Big Lake has to offer, you can camp at Swansons Motel and Campground, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Pigeon Lake Trail. From a precipitation point of view Big Lake is a rather typical spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Rustic Roost Motel Dining, and you'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Lucius Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Bois Brule River is so much fun, and Big Lake is a pleasant site to camp, Copper Range Campground is a pleasant site.
