Big Horseshoe Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cast-a-way Trailer Park is a great local campground, and paddling on Apple River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lakeview Park and Campground is       always a great experience, and there are other spots here than Big Horseshoe Lake, for example Horseshoe Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Wild Mountain. All through the months of summer highs here at Big Horseshoe Lake reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's.
