For the period of the months of summer highs here at Big Fork Lake reach the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Big Fork Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Big Stone Lake is a lake in close proximity,       and there's perfect hiking along the Anvil Lake Trail System. The Kimball Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Wild Eagle Lodge is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at The Harbor Campground is always a good experience, and Big Fork Lake is right by the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Big Fork Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. Big Fork                  Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Laurel Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground; if you're here, you could take a look at Fourmile Creek. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Big Fork Lake.
