Big Devil Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Leesome Pine Campgrounds is a fine local campground. A wonderful close by hotel is Best Western American Heritage Inn, and do visit Chinty Lake, it's a wonderful lake. The annual rainfall here at Big Devil Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do       here at Big Devil Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dahle's Campground is a tremendous spot for that; for you golfers we recommend nearby Butternut Hills Golf Course & Golf Learning Center. During the summer months highs here at Big Devil Lake reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Big Devil Lake tend to be in                  the-10's.
