A lake nearby is Camp Lake; there's splendid hiking along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Two Lakes Campground is a glorious campground here, and after a long day outdoors Hummingbird Haven is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. For the period of the summertime highs here at Big Brook Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally       in the 10's with temperatures at Big Brook Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Big Brook Lake has it all. If you need a place to stay Northern Pine Inn is a pleasant choice, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Namekagon River. The amount of precipitation that falls at Big Brook Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February                  on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Shewahmegon Boys Camp is a glorious place to camp, and don't leave Big Brook Lake without first going for a hike along the Pigeon Lake Trail.
