Big Bear Lake is a good location of common rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Big Bear Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Rosenthal's Resort is a delightful local campground; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge. Don't leave Big Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail; drift down the rapids of St. Croix River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Big Bear Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
