This lake is so wonderful. Big Bay Lagoon is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dalrymple Campground is a great local campground, and Big Bay is not far at all. Woodside Cottages is a splendid place to get some rest, and if you're looking for a fine trip, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is pretty near. From a precipitation point of view Big Bay Lagoon is a relatively normal site; August is the       wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. If you came to camp Big Bay State Park is a fine site to do that. Bad River is a good whitewater spot near Big Bay Lagoon; dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ashland, Wi. At Big Bay Lagoon during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
