Get dripping wet paddling on Upper Tamarack River; dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Crooked Lake. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a wonderful choice; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Bass Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lower Tamarack River, and you can stay the night at Herzl Camp. Throughout the summertime months at       Berg Lake highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Berg Lake. Near Berg Lake you come across the Markville Snowmobile Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Berg Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gulden's Yellow River Campgrounds is a brilliant place for that. Man, is there lots of cool                  stuff to do next to Berg Lake.
