After a long day outdoors Northern Pine Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay T.P. Resort and Campground is a fine place to camp. From a rain point of view Bennett Lake is a reasonably common spot; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Dahle's       Campground is a magnificent local campground, and if you've had enough of Bennett Lake, McDermott Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Birch Lake is in the vicinity of Bennett Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Namekagon River. All through the summertime at Bennett Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
