Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pike River; an afternoon playing golf at Spring Valley Country Club is always a bliss. Comfort Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest. A good location to camp here at Benet Lake is Happy Acres Kamp Ground, and dry warm beds await you at Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Raging Buffalo Snowboard       Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing), and an out of the ordinary thing to pop by in the vicinity of Benet Lake is Lake Shangri La Dam. From a rain point of view Benet Lake is a relatively normal spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Just can't get enough of Benet Lake. Camping at Fox River Recreation is always a great experience, and a stunning lake like Benet Lake is a nice place to take a look at.                  This lake is so wonderful. Lake Shangrila is a great lake near Benet Lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Tamarack View Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is always a glorious adventure, and skiing at Wilmot mountain is one of those things you just should do. All through the summertime highs here at Benet Lake get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Benet Lake tend to be in the 0's.
