A visit to Benet Lake is always a good idea. Hiking along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is delightful fun, and do pop by Cross Lake, it's a scenic lake. Benet Lake is close to Lake Shangri La Dam which is a gorgeous spot beyond doubt worth visiting, and Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha is a good location to get some rest. Why not camp at Fox River Recreation if you're here at Benet Lake, and Benet Lake is right by the Tamarack View Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The nice folks of Racine like to hang out nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Pike River. Cross Lake is a good spot to stop at.
The snow is great at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice, and
why not head up to Wilmot mountain and strap some skis to your feet. High temperatures at Benet Lake all through the days of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are
typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Benet Lake tend to be in the 0's.
Benet Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
