If you are in this part of Wisconsin make sure to pay a visit to Benet Lake. Benet Lake is a brilliant lake close to Benet Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pike River. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) in close proximity, and there's always Lake Shangri La Dam to take a look at in close proximity to Benet Lake.

The good people of Racine like to hang out close by, and going for a hike on the Tamarack View Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Wilmot mountain has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and you can stay the night at Fox River Recreation.

Don't leave Benet Lake without first going for a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail; dry warm beds await you at Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha. The yearly rain here at Benet Lake is about average; during the month
of August you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. At Benet Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. During the winter highs are
mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Benet Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Benet Lake has to offer, you can camp at Happy Acres Kamp Ground, and you can go for a hike on the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail.
