A great close by hotel is Hayward Super 8 Motel, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the North Country Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Bell Lake. You'll find a beautiful lake called Basswood Lake near Bell Lake. Bell Lake gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Wildwood       Campground is a great place to camp; since you're here you can take a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Northern Pines Golf Course, and going for a hike along the Pigeon Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the period of the warm months highs here at Bell Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in                  the 10's, and night lows at Bell Lake through the wintertime frequently dip into the-10's.
