Whitewater paddling is great on Pike River - North Branch, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Inns-Iron Mountain is a good place to spend a night or two. At Belgian Lake you always meet someone from Iron Mountain, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Norway Mountain. Through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Belgian Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures       drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Belgian Lake. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
