Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Upper Tamarack River; Country House Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Spooner Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and Anchor Bay Camping and Cabins is a splendid campground here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Behr Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest       month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Americinn Shell Lake is a nice site to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Behr Lake you could also have a look at close by Clubhouse Lake. Through the summer highs here at Behr Lake reach the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 10's while Behr Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's.
