Beglinger Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. After a long day outdoors Americinn Shell Lake is a great place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend       Eau Claire River. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Beglinger Lake reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Beglinger Lake through the wintertime regularly sink into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Fire Hill Golf Club, and camping is available at Charlie Brown's Campground. A great nearby hotel is Best Western                  American Heritage Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Clearwater Resort and RV Campground is a good place to camp.
