Summer brings highs in the 70's to Beaverdam Lake; the overnight is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 10's; night lows in the 0's for Beaverdam Lake. The annual rainfall here at Beaverdam Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest       month of the year is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. A short spree to Hogsback Springs is always worthwhile; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Whitecap Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Flambeau River - South Fork, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Flambeau River - North Fork is so much fun,                  and Beaverdam Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is a splendid local campground.
