Beaver Pond is located in the Gogebic Range. Skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Lakes are great; Upson Lake is a lake that's next to Beaver Pond. Throughout the summer highs here at Beaver Pond reach the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beaver Pond. This lake is so       wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whitecap Mountain while you're here; a splendid spot to camp here at Beaver Pond is Waverly Campground. Having a pleasant time in the Gogebic Range is painless. A perfect close by hotel is Hurley Days Inn, and Potato River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Freburg Creek,                  and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Weber Lake is one of those close by. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beaver Pond. Beaver Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Little Girls Point Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Budget Host Cloverland Motel Ironwood is a great site to get some rest.
