     A fine spot to camp here at Beaver Pond is Stevens Lake Campground; if you need a place to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a perfect choice. Go for a hike on the Lauterman Trail; there's whitewater on Popple River for all you adrenaline junkies. Beaver Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for  
   you then we recommend Pine River; camping at Florence County Park Campground is always a glorious experience.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beaver Pond. The slopes of Ski Brule are so inviting nobody can resist; fine hiking is available along the Dendro Eco Trail. For the period of the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Beaver Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime
 
               comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
Everybody nearby loves skiing at Brule Mountain, and Halsey Lake is a splendid lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest, and there are other spots here than Beaver Pond, for example Long Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Beaver Pond; Eds Lake Trail System is a nice local trail, and obviously Halsey Lake Outlet is a scenic stream that is worth going to.
