This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a delightful place to do that, and Chippewa River - West Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. A common amount of rain falls here at Beaver Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. Beaver Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Lodge Resort is a fine       local campground; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marengo River. At Beaver Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and overnight lows through the winter for Beaver Lake tend to be in the-10's. Just can't get enough of Beaver Lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by                  golf course like Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course, and hiking along the Virgin Pine Trail is great fun. Comfort Suites Hayward is a good place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the North Country Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Ole Creek; not far from Beaver Lake you'll come across Stearns Lake which is a pretty lake. Beaver Lake is right by the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail.
