That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Beaver Lake has it all. There are some nice whitewater spots on Prairie River, and a range like the Harrison Hills is always pretty. Summertime at Beaver Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration       of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while Beaver Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. If you come at the right time of year, Wisconsin River offers some good whitewater; there are other locations here than Beaver Lake, for example Kordick Lake. The top of Harrison Hills is easily observed from Beaver Lake, and don't leave Beaver Lake without first going for a hike along the Bearskin State Park Trail. Beaver                  Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls through August, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Northforest Campgrounds is a fine campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Rhinelander is a great spot to spend a night or two. If you're dropping by Beaver Lake from Merrill, you won't be the only one, and lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Tahoe Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
