Beaver Lake in fact is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. A great nearby hotel       is Americinn - Ironwood, Mi; there are some good whitewater spots on Black River. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Gogebic Range is unbeatable! If you come at the right time of year, Turtle River offers some magnificent whitewater, and why not head up to Big Powderhorn Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. During the summer highs here at Beaver Lake reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Through                  the winter highs are in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Beaver Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. An average amount of rain falls at Beaver Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
