Hiking along the Hay Meadow Trail is nice fun; you'll meet a lot of people from Eau Claire
here. A common amount of rain falls here at Beaver Lake; most of the rain falls during August, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Chippewa River near Beaver Lake; Christie Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff.
