It's always fun to stop by Beaver Lake. Summer at Beaver Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Beaver Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Lake really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Don't leave Beaver Lake without first going for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail, and a delightful close by hotel is Glen Loch Motel. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Big Buck Lake near Beaver Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Chippewa River offers some glorious
whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Deer Fly Trail, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Christie Mountain. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Duncan Creek; you can go for a hike on the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail.
