Do stop by Beaver Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. Beaver Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brunsweiler River, and do take a hike on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Beaver Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.

| | Campground is always a nice experience; an out of the ordinary thing to stop by in the neighborhood of Beaver Lake is Day Dam. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. If you came to camp Day Lake Campground is a tremendous site to do that, and a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Marengo River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Gogebic Range. North Haven Country Cottage is a perfect place to get some rest.
