Beauprey Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Menominee Reservation Campground is a splendid local campground, and not far from Beauprey Lake you'll locate Pine Lake which is a striking lake. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Beauprey Lake. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Shawano is a good choice, and Wolf River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. A pleasant nearby hotel is Kiryat Hotel. Turtle

| | Rapids is a fine local attraction, and why not pop by nearby Five Island Creek since you're here at Beauprey Lake.
The annual rainfall here at Beauprey Lake is about average; through September this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and a great site to camp here at Beauprey Lake is Echo Valley Resort and Campgrnd. Good hiking is available | |

Wolf River
| I went rafting there two days ago and I had SO much fun! One rapid, called lower Dells, has cliffs on both sides and we jumped of them. If you jump make sure to jump far out (I hit my knee on a rock) and face toward the light green trees when you are jumping from the right side (when you are facing the rapids) Also, it is fun to swim Dave's Wave which is the second half of the lower Duck's Nest. Make sure to go down Big Smokey! And then pull your raft to the side of the river and go under the waterfall!! So much fun! The only bad thing was the water level was low... so we got pretty scraped up on the rocks.... |

Boulder Lake Lodge
 | Boulder Lake Lodge Resort is 80 acres located in the Nicolet National Forest on spring fed Boulder Lake. The national forest forms the property line to the north and Boulder Lake is the property line on the south. We have every outdoor sport you can think of from motorized water sports to snowmobiling. There is fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and hunting in the adjecent national forest. At the end of the days activity or just for a mid-afternoon drink, you can stop by for a cold one and some good conversation at the Lodge. The Lodge is a central gathering point with a full liquor licence. Our RV sites are being upgraded all the time. We installed a new dump station in 2005. There are 20 sites with electric only.
