Summertime highs at Bear Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bear Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Lake; Deer Fly Trail is a splendid local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Paradise Shores Resort Hotel. This lake       is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duncan Creek. Lakes are magnificent; Atwood Lake is a lake that's near Bear Lake. Here at Bear Lake there are plenty of people from Eau Claire, and there's tremendous hiking along the Hickory Ridge Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Christie Mountain, and you can stay the night at Loon Lake Camp Grounds. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Chippewa                  River offers some fine whitewater; Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a delightful place to get some rest. This place, Bear Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Don't leave Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a good campground here.
