During your tour to Bear Lake you'll meet some folks from Stevens Point for sure; a quick spree to Pike Lake Creek is positively a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is AmericInn Weston. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mayflower Lake Campgrounds is a nice location for that. That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Bear Lake       has it all. The amount of rainfall that falls at Bear Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You can run the rapids of Eau Claire River right next door to Bear Lake, and Bear Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Brookside Village is a magnificent local campground. Summertime highs at Bear Lake generally tend to be in the 80's.                  Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bear Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
