Do stop by Bear Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. This lake is so wonderful. The pretty Harrison Hills is here at Bear Lake. The slopes of Granite Peak are so inviting noone can resist; there's whitewater on Wisconsin River for all you adrenaline junkies. Bear Lake is a nice location to camp, Birkensee Resort is a nice location, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Bearskin State Park Trail.

Motel - Rhinelander is a fine choice; if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Merrill. During the summertime months at Bear Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and the night is quite colder of course, typically in the
50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Bear Lake are in the-10's.
