Try Bear Creek, and the Dendro Eco Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. An average amount of rainfall falls at Bear Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Whitewater       paddling is tremendous on Peshtigo River, and going for a hike on the Eds Lake Trail System is always a glorious adventure. A nice place to camp here at Bear Lake is Burnt Bridge Campground, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a good choice. Bear Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Lake Campground is a glorious local campground; nearby you come across the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.                  At Bear Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
