Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Bear Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork, and don't forget to take a perfect little tour to Hay Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Chippewa River - East Fork is a nice whitewater spot near Bear Lake; you can go for a hike on the Tuscobia Park Falls State       Trail. Going for a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is always a perfect adventure. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground is a great location for that. For the duration of the months of summer at Bear Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's with temperatures                  at Bear Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. A wonderful nearby hotel is Junek's Bay Cabins, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Black Lake Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Cub Lake, and Bear Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Black Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground.
