Bear Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Take a hike on the Black Lake Trail; a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Chippewa River - East Fork. Throughout the warm days of summer at Bear Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Bear Lake is a good spot of common precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
